Mike Magdaleno

In 1981, Mike was first hired by Norman Kober in Brownsville, Texas as a Chick-fil-A Sunrise Mall Crew Member at the young age of sixteen. Determined, he quickly worked his way up the ranks and in 1987 he was given the opportunity to operate a mall unit across town. After relocating to the community of Spring, Texas, in the year 2000, he has since successfully operated the Louetta Crossing FSU for over 16 years.

Throughout his Chick-fil-A Journey, Leadership has played a fundamental role in the strong foundation that Mike has cultivated for his team over the course of 30+ years. Prior to the initial launching of his High Performance Leadership Team (HPLT), Mike was blessed with two long-term General Managers who brought stability and consistency to his team, both of which have went on to pursue their career with Chick-fil-A in different cities. His current HPLT is both cohesive and seasoned. In fact, the Chick-fil-A Louetta Crossing HPLT has over 150 years of combined experience. With the addition of High Performance Organization (HPO) Policies and Annual Planning Meetings, this well-trained and proficient team has brought sales, profit and scores to record all-time highs.

Additionally, Mike is serving as a mentor for an internal degree candidate with great potential to further his career at Chick-fil-A, along with two junior leaders who are currently working through school. Mike also firmly believes in building the bench through community involvement and has led the initiative with the foundation of the Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy at a local high school, which primes the pipelines for new talent.

Mike is an avid Texans football fan and is a member of the Traveling Texans, supporting the team on the road. As a current Living Water International Ministry advocate, Mike frequently travels as part of the Lifeshape program to help provide clean water to those who are without and to spread God's word to the world. Additionally, Mike is a member of Iron Man, a Christian men's group founded by fellow operator, Quart Graves, in which they routinely gather to share God's word. A baseball card collector at heart, Mike is proud of his extensive Hall of Fame Rookie card collection. He is also a true green thumb and can most often be found working in his garden; nurturing his many herb and chili plants as well as his numerous avocado and various citrus trees.
